Reflecting on the First-Ever #AppyHour Camp: An Epic Experience!
Just a few days ago, the inaugural #AppyHour Camp wrapped up, and I have to say—it was nothing short of epic! Huge props to Liz Scott and Heather Satterley for bringing their vision to life. They successfully united top-tier accounting educators, emerging rockstars, and dedicated solution providers for an unforgettable experience.
As the MC for Appy Hour Camp, and in my role as The Designated Motivator, I witnessed an incredible surge of peer-to-peer inspiration. I even brought along my Starting Lineup of technology solution providers, proudly showcased with our new #DesignatedMotivator blackout t-shirts. Trust me, Appy Camp is just the beginning for these shirts!

Before heading to camp, I knew I’d come back with valuable insights—and I wasn’t disappointed. The talks were inspiring, and being (mostly) unplugged allowed for genuine human connection. I returned energized, ready to amplify my efforts in supporting all of you, and to help our profession continue thriving.
